Alabama Football Recruiting: 2027 EDGE Jeremiah Beverly Talks Zay Hall Connection After Crimson Tide Offer
Tuscaloosa is producing talent again, and Alabama football wants to keep it in-house. Three-star 2027 EDGE Jeremiah Beverly picked up his offer from the Crimson Tide several weeks ago, and the timing lines up with a connection that already exists inside the program.
Beverly is a local product of Hillcrest High School, which means he has grown up around Alabama football and its culture in a way most recruits never get to experience. That history runs even deeper through one specific relationship: Alabama linebacker Zay Hall.
When asked directly about the chance to eventually team up with Hall at the next level, Beverly did not hold back on what that opportunity would mean to him heading into his recruitment.
The in-state ties continue to matter for Kalen DeBoer's staff, and Beverly's familiarity with both the program and a current Crimson Tide defender gives Alabama a real edge in this race. Watch for this recruitment to pick up steam as the 2027 cycle develops.
