Alabama 2027 WR Recruiting: Cedrick Simmons Commits, Flips From Auburn
Alabama has flipped 2027 three-star wide receiver Cedrick Simmons away from Auburn, adding one of the state's most productive playmakers to its receiver room.
Simmons, a Selma High School product, had been committed to Auburn since June 23 before reopening his recruitment and choosing the Crimson Tide. Alabama offered him in June and hosted him for an official visit shortly after, with head coach Kalen DeBoer and receivers coach Derrick Nix continuing to recruit him even after he was committed elsewhere.

Listed at 5-foot-10, 190 pounds, Simmons plays bigger than his frame suggests. As a junior last season, he hauled in 106 receptions for 2,192 yards and 20 touchdowns, numbers that made him one of the most dominant offensive weapons in the state of Alabama regardless of classification.

He also contributed on defense, picking off seven passes.
Simmons said the chance to play for the program he grew up rooting for, along with DeBoer's background at wide receiver, factored heavily into his decision.

What do you think Simmons brings to Alabama's 2027 receiver class?
