Alabama Football: Four-Star 2028 OL Anthony Blalock Jr. Commits to Crimson Tide
Alabama has landed another building block for its 2028 offensive line class. Four-star tackle Anthony Blalock Jr. has committed to the Crimson Tide, choosing Alabama over Ohio State, Texas Tech, and other suitors.
The 6-foot-6, 315-pound lineman out of Austintown Fitch High School in Ohio gives Kalen DeBoer's staff an early foothold in the trenches for the 2028 cycle. Blalock is ranked the No. 125 overall prospect nationally, the No. 8 interior offensive lineman in the country, and the No. 4 player in the state of Ohio, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He becomes the sixth commitment in Alabama's 2028 class.
Landing a top Ohio talent over the in-state Buckeyes is a notable early win for Alabama's recruiting effort as the Tide continues building out its offensive line depth for the future.
